It can feel like waves, sometimes calm, other times crashing without warning. There’s no single “right way” to grieve, and no timeline that makes the pain disappear. What matters is allowing yourself the space to feel, to remember, and to heal at your own pace.
In those quiet moments, it’s easy to lose sight of who we are beyond the loss. That’s when affirmations become powerful. Saying to yourself, I Matter Because…invites you to name the reasons you are still here, still valuable, still needed.
I Matter Because my voice is still strong.
I Matter Because my love for those I’ve lost carries on through me.
I Matter Because even in my grief, I am learning how to grow.
Grief does not erase our worth—it deepens it. It shows us the strength of love, the depth of connection, and the resilience of the human spirit. Even in the hardest moments, remember: you matter, your healing matters, and your journey matters.
